Currently, I'm on my alienware aurora r4 and am trying to increase the dedicated video memory. The problem is, that my BIOS seems to be something called aptio setup utility. The advanced screen where you would normally be able to find advanced chipset features is nearly empty, containing only a few options. My computer has over 3 quarters of the VRam not in use and I would like to make some of it dedicated. I've looked through help sites everywhere, none of them seeming to have the same exact problem as me. Please reply if you know the answer.

It's not a shared memory environment, so you can't do that. The total available graphics memory is what's installed on the cards, your system memory is totally separate.

If you have a SLI or Crossfire setup remember that all cards need to have a copy of everything so you'll only ever really be able to use as much video memory as one card has. E.G. 2x 3GB cards does not equal 6GB, it equals 3GB.

Dedicated video memory is hardware memory physically installed on the video card, you can't change the amount via software. Are you talking about shared memory on the integrated graphics on your CPU? You want to set the reserve amount? You're not using a GPU?
