which is better AMD A10-6700 3.70GHz or Intel Core i5-4440 3.10GHz

I am looking to buy a gateway desktop for internet and there are two different processors offered in their desktops. Which is better?
AMD A10-6700 3.70GHz or Intel Core i5-4440 3.10GHz

Both CPUs can be used to surf the internet without any problem and can be use to watch videos whether they are on Youtube or Netflix.

The difference between the two CPUs are:

1 - The A10-6700 is a weaker processor meaning that it may feel weak or sluggish sooner rather than later compared to the i5-4440 if you plan on doing anything processor intensive. If the primary purpose is to surf the internet, then you basically don't have too much to worry about. My 7 year PC with a Core 2 Duo E6600 CPU is still more than capable to surf the internet.

2 - Assuming you are not buying a PC with a dedicated graphics card, then you will be relying on the integrated graphic cores inside those processors. The A10-6700 has a more powerful graphics core than the i5-4440. However, as mentioned above, you are not going to have any problems watching videos.

3 - From a gaming perspective, if you plan on playing games and you are only relying on the integrated graphics core then the A10-6700 would be better for games than the i5-4440. Without diving too deep into this point, in general the i5-4440 with a dedicated graphics card will perform better than the A10-6700 with a dedicated graphics card. There are exceptions, but that is a slightly more complex topic so I will only discuss that if you want to know more.
