Brass Standoffs and Motherboards

I know you're supposed to elevate your MB from your case, but in my situation the case has these little bumps which line the MB perfectly with the back panel. Putting the brass standoffs on raises the MB above the back panel.

Is there something I'm missing? Or is it okay to not have standoffs in this situation?

You are fine, some cases will have the stand-odds built in like yours. Just make sure that none of those bumps are touching a place on your motherboard that it isn't supposed to.
