Last night I was playing Just Cause 2 on my desktop and I stopped playing for a moment to adjust my Zelotes Optical USB Wired gaming mouse. When I was done th lights on it and my Razor Deathstalker went out, which was odd because as long as they are plugged in and the computer has power the lights are on. I did a hard reset and when I turned it back on I got the motherboard splash screen then an American Megatrends screen saying USB device over current status detected. It also said 0 USB devices were found. No mouse, no keyboard, no drive, no hub.

Today I have spent a good amount of time on the forums fourms here seeing what you folks say and I tried everything. Looking into the USB ports on my ASUS M5A97 R2.0 motherboard I saw no metal to metal contact on the rear on the computer nor the front, I moved the front panel USB cable to different slots on the motherboard as well as flat out keeping the unplugged. Since my computer is not detecting my keyboard or mouse, I am also unable to get into the BIOS to check what is going on there. I'm totally dumbfounded on what the hell the problem might be.

I'm running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I have 8GB of RAM, an AMD FX-8150 Zambezi CPU with my ASUS M5A97 R2.0 motherboard. My case is a NZXT Source 210 amd everything is just over 2 years old. I'm a college student and need this computer to do anything. What do I do from here?
