Windows 8.1 Keeps Crashing On first time boot

I just got done building my first gaming PC and I can get passed everything else but as soon as I click next it freezes is there a fix for this?

Oh yeah my mobo is a z97-g45

Hi,
have you tried clicking on new option on the bottom and create a partition.
If it fails most likely have a problem with hard drive of memory

its probably your chipset. set your sata to ide in the bios.
