IM a bit confused so maybe some one can help me decipher this, I am attempting to upgrade my cpu, to this Phenom IIx6 1100T , motherboard is gigabyte. GA-MA790X-UD4P now mine has revision RB-C2 also BIOS REV F9 socket AMD 3 step 2 .... according to gig website this processor should work, but 790XT , not 790X , on processor site says similar, I found almost no info on my revision RB-C2 , also if the F9 bios does it have to be exact ? or any bios UP to F9 will work?

I will check my board to see if it is rev. 1.0 if it is not I suppose the bios F9 is as far as it can go? Thanks for answer this helps sort things out. my easy tune is where rev. RB-C2 was stated. not on the board itself. and the 790XT I meant GA-MA-790XT-UD4P. its another gig mobo . clarified. Thank you for help more investigating.....lol

also full model of the motherboard is on it. then you won't have doubts.
