Does my internet connection and services are unlimited?

In our home, recently we switch to a dlink router instead of a doungle .
It is said that the local service provider will give unlimited internet data for free at a rate of
Rs.650 per month(I don't know it's value in dollars, but you can think it as a medium range pack). Is that even true, because my dad is saying like that.
How come will they get profit, if more data is used?

Eh? I'm presuming your saying you'll get unlimited data? It's not free if your still paying a monthly fee. You'll just have unlimited downloads which yes, it is possible since those packages do exist with most ISPs.

Sorry If you did'nt understand what I have written but I dont have much knowledge about this ISP.


I have also another question i.e How can they get a profit even with a per month fee( as in our Indian rupees the value is much small, which is lesser than using through any dongles)

Well since it is in India they probably have very cheap labor and maintenance technicians.
