4GB ram or 8GB ram?

just wanna know if ever,

whch is better , to have a 4GB Crucial 1600Mhz of ram with GTX460 1GB or

have a 8GB kingston hyperx fury 1866Mhz without the GTX460?

i will be having the intel pentium g3240 for the CPU.

please help thanks.

i will just play dota 2 and some FPS .

It sort of depends on what you're trying to do because 8GB is the sweet spot for games and over all better system performance.

8GB is better and Dota2 should run without the GTX460 but on the other hand for FPS games you will need a GPU for higher frame rates. So decide whats best based on the games you play.

To be honest, you probably won't see a lot of performance boost with the 1866 RAM over the 1600 RAM. So, if you have the cash, get 8GB of Crucial (2x4) with the GTX 460.
