Hi all,

I built my first gaming pc on july/2014, and i was wondering which part of it i should upgrade first.

I've noticed some issues related to FPS, booting speed (40 seconds to completely boot running windows 8.1) and high temperatures.

My current specs are as follows:

Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R2.0
GPU: Sapphire Dual-X R9 270
CPU: Amd FX-6300 (running with the stock heatsink)
RAM: Kingston Technology HyperX Blu 8GB 1333MHz
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (CX600)

My budget is around 200$.

My thanks in advance!

Boot speed will be influenced by your drive, SSDs have gained a ton of popularity and will speed up any system, but it will not help you with in game performance, just load times. Both your CPU and GPU are a little mediocre but to improve game performance the most a better GPU would give you the most benefit.

I would take a look at Tom's best GPU/CPU for the money that they publish every month.

He's right, if you don't have an ssd yet, get one.
