I recently purchased an SSD for my home PC. Everything I have installed has went directly to the C drive without even asking where I would like to have it installed. I copied the files and transferred them over to my HDD but a lot of the files are corrupt. I changed the destination of my browser's downloads, as well as the RegEdit that I read about online and I still am not having any luck. Mainly I would like my Microsoft Office on my HDD but it keeps telling me there has been an error everytime I try to open it.

Installed new SSD and can't get programs to install to HDD

Just moving folders doesn't work. You want to select where you want it when it installs, any decent program will prompt you for this information (Don't choose express install, express usually defaults to C: drive)
If the program doesn't let you choose on install, you can point the folders to a different location.

You have to choose custom install to select a location. If you just kept clicking next until the program was installed it will always default to the C: drive.
