I'm looking for a scanner device for performing specific task:

When the button on a scanner is pushed, it sends scanned document via WiFi directly to a specified folder on NAS server or a PC in the same local network. The folder would have to be specified once and remembered ever since.

The most important part is that it has to be direct and automatic. All WiFi scanners I found so far need an app installed on a mobile device which tells it what to do with a document. I need a device, that can scan directly to a specified folder without the need of user interference or any app installed. Just one click on a scanner and a document shows on a hard drive.

Does somebody know of such a device?

For what you want to do with this, it won't be portable. All of the scan to network devices that you can program directly form the device need a complex operating system in them and are large and expensive.

I've worked with scanners like this before, if you want to scan directly from the scanner without a PC controlling it, you have to have a larger unit probably 3-4 or more times the cost of a standard scanner.
