Hey, it's my first time building a pc and I'm hoping you guys can give your opinions, and make any adjustment that would help improve efficiency or reduce price but maintain the same efficiency. The purpose for this pc will be focused on gaming, and photo and video editing. I'm hoping to keep it under $1500. Please share any opinions you guys have! Thank you and appreciate it. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/yangalang/saved/44fkcf

Almost perfect, but you did not include a mechanical hard drive for storage of large video files. Maybe you already have one? Also, if you plan to get a second GTX 970 in the future for SLI, get 750W PSU instead of this one. If you don't plan to SLI, you spent at least $50 too much on the motherboard, the difference can be put towards a mechanical drive. Other than that, great build.

Pretty strong build, I would change a few things however. The i7-4790k is way overpriced. Get the i7-4770k, it's still as good. The i7 are especially powerful because they have hyperthreading which is great for video production. Add a mechanical hard drive (probably 2tb) because video files get BIG. Change your ssd to a Sandisk 128GB, it's less expensive and you don't need that much space on it because you will have the mechanical hard drive for your storage. Finally, change to the EVGA GeFroce GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0, it costs less than the MSI but comes with better performance due to already being overclocked and a better cooling unit. Other than that, should be fine. Also, if you are really care about sound, then it would be beneficial to get a sound card, however only if you are really picky about sound. And lastly, are you all set with mouse, keyboard, speakers, and headset?

There's no problem with it, it's gonna work great except one thing.
You probably need a HDD for storage 1/2TB since you're going to use it for video editing, you need to store the videos, 250GB just won't do.
Everything else is okay.
