Hello.

I have a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 that started to have problems. So I wanna reinstall a fresh Windows.
I have 3 partitions
- C for Windows and programs
- D for movies and personal stuff
- E for games

My question is, can I install Win 7 directly from the CD (starting setup) directly on the C partition (by formating it) without touching the other 2 partitions? Like, erase everything on C and reinstall Win 7 on it. Thats all.

Thanks.

Thanks for the answer. Yes, guess it will ask me on what partition to install it if I remember, and I'll just choose to format Cand install it there, right?

Well if i remember correctly, when you gonna choose what disk to install on and what to format, you have a advanced option somewhere where you can see your artitions i believe, only before you format the disk of course.
I think the option was called "drive option (advanced)"

Yes yes yes that's it, exactly. It's somewhere next to the "Load partition" option. I just format C and install on it.
