What is the average frequency of a laptop that is for general use?

What is the average frequency, I'm comparing some computer and laptops for an assignment and just wondering what an aerag freq is. Many Thanks

Depends a lot, lower cores ones have/need higher frecuency but is low power ones you will find lower speed due power comsuption requirements for a two core "real" processor (not mobile devices ones) i would say around 2.4GHz with the low cost ones around 2.1GHz
