You may want to check into it, but I believe steam saves all your info (or has a setting to save things to the server). The most trouble free way to do it would be to move any personal files, documents, photos etc you may have saved on your system drive to the other hard drive. Format the first drive and do a fresh install of windows. You'll probably have to reinstall all of your programs. There may be programs out there that say they will migrate your program files but I've never seen one yet that did a perfect job. When programs install they typically insert files into the registry (built during the install of windows) and integrate with the system itself. It will require a reinstall of windows to clear out all the old drivers for the old motherboard and set it up to install the new drivers for the new motherboard or you'll likely end up with a pc that refuses to boot up. It will attempt to boot and be trying to load drivers for hardware that's missing.
