CS : GO crashing when loading surf maps

Hi when ever i load any surf map it gets to a certain point and then crashes to the desktop and a small box appears saying engine error if anyone knows how to fix this i would really appreciate it

Delete the map and re-download it, the server probably has an updated map.

hmm maby i worded it wrong. when i am joining a surf server on cs go my game crashes loading any of the surfing maps i have tried loads of them

If the game is crashing before loading any map then you may need to 'verify integrity of game cache'.
You can find this by right clicking the game in steam > properties > local files tab.
