Asking for a budget build

My budget is around 25000 INR. I know this is way too low for a gaming PC, but I want to put up a cheap build and then upgrade the parts one by one. I am not looking to play at ultra settings. Maybe med. to high. I want to play at 1280 X 1024, but I can lower it down when required. If not current games, it should be able to play games around 2013.
I already have : Monitor(resolution 1280 X 1024), HDD (500 GB)
I want : Motherboard, Graphics,Processor, Cabinet, RAM, DVD Drive.

Also I thought of a build, see to it if it is any good,
Pentium G3220
Sapphire Radeon HD 7770
Transcend 4GB 1333Mhz RAM
Antec X1 or V1 cabinet
ASRock H81 PRO BTC
Asus DVD Drive.

Also I would want to know what is the build you recommend is capable of, if possible. Thanks in advance.

Well I don't know india prices but it looks good for 25k I think?

Which games did you have in mind? Watch Dogs should be just about playable on low/ medium with low AA and Far Cry 4 should run fine with the dual core patch as long as you're happy with 30fps and maybe 720p

It's a fine starter build and there's room to upgrade too

Thanks, but I'm looking towards getting an intel build. I read that thread already but couldn't get much out of it. The budget became flexible there, but that isn't the case with me.

That build would get you started and you'd be able to play most games on the market actually

A handful of the most demanding games of the last 12 months would be too much but hey, that's not bad for the money

I wanted to confirm that I cannot get any better than this at that budget by posting here.
And those handful of games...well they will be the ones I'm dying to play. :p I'll just have to wait more.

I wanted Crysis 3, The Crew, Far Cry 4, WatchDogs, Call Of Duty (every title I can play), Battlefield 3/4, The Witcher2. It's quite a list. Do you think I will be okay with all these at 1280 X 720?

Yes to all of those at least 720 / medium (with one or two settings on low)

Prices quoted from Snapdeal.... You will definitely get cheaper prices for some, if not all, components in local market...

  • MB -- Gigabyte B85 -- 4900
    CPU -- Intel G3220 -- 3266
    GPU -- Sapphire r7 260x -- 8900
    RAM -- Kingston 8GB -- 4500
    PSU -- Corsair VS550 -- 3200
    Cabinet -- Zebronics -- 1000

Total - Rs 25766

No need of a DVD drive these days... I have hardly used my DVD RW for 5-6 times in last 3 years...

I need a DVD Drive to install games, I don't have high internet speeds to download GBs of data. Also my build is cheaper by Rs.1200. I guess, I'll stick to that since LucoTF even mentioned I could play the games I mentioned at med. settings.

They're not great, but they're not bad either. In my experience when a product comes with a 3 year guarantee it tends to last at least three years, it's too expensive for the manufacturer if it doesn't

I owned and used a VS450 for about 15 months until I had the money to install an XFX...

I am thinking of buying Antec VP 450 PSU. Is it good enough to power all the parts I mentioned?
