Need some advices about my new gaming rig's hardware

Good day, guys.
At the moment I'm selecting hardware parts for my new gaming PC. My main target is to make solid PC for 3-4 years with minmum upgrade during this period. I have a 1920x1080 120 hz monitor, no 4k and no 3D in plans. So I believe that this rig should be fine:

Intel Core i7 4790K
Scythe Mugen 4
MSI Z97 GAMING 5 or Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H iZ97 or Asus SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK 2
ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5 x 2 or Gigabyte GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD x 2
DDR3 16Gb 1866MHz Kingston HyperX CL11 Kit of 2
2.5" 512Gb Crucial MX100
2Tb, Western Digital Black
Cooler Master V850 Vanguard 80+ 850W ATX
Cooler Master Storm Trooper

But I have some questions before I can go and grab all of them. I hope that you can help me to solve them.
1) Is 4790K ok for long perspective? I need it only for gaming and a set of DDR4 + x99 MoBo + 5820K cost much more. Plus 5820K stock clock speed is only 3.3Ghz vs 4Ghz for 4790K.
2) Which of these three motherboards should I choose? I heard some bad reports about Killer Ethernet cards. Are those problems solved because MSI MoBo looks good for me?
3) I want to create a SLI of 2x970. Usually I choose reference GPU's for this purpose but there are none for 970 GTX. So is it ok to take 2 Gigabyte\Asus cards? Will they perform well during hot summer days without overheating? And which one of those two should I choose for SLI?
4) Last time I bought a fancy G.Skill RipJaws RAM with a lifetime warranty and one of the sticks died in about a month. So this time I decided to take some more "simple" RAM. I have a very good offer for this kit. Is it good to go?
5) There are none of 256Gb Samsung 850 EVO available now in my city, only 850 PRO which is really overpriced. For that money I can nearly buy 512Gb Crucial MX100 (cause 256Gb version has a low write speed). Should I take it or search something else?
6) Last question is about the case. Now I have HAF X one for my current PC. It's awsome but I want a new one (and I will also need my current PC). Storm Trooper looks ok for me. It is big, has good airflow, dust filters (my current PSU sucked lots of dust in HAF X) and a carrying handle (HAF X is not that good and easy when you need to transport or clear it). Is it a good choice?

I think that was all I want to ask you guys. Thanks in advance for all your tips and helping me to make a final decision!

Solution
1. It will be adequate for gaming for a long time to come. The i5-2500k is still adequate and thats a 3yr old chip at this point. Just a note, you cant compare clocks between a 4790k and a 5820k, completely different chips and I bet despite that difference those two extra cores more than make up for it in the correct workloads.

2. Any of them really...

3. Again, either one will do fine. I lean toward Gigabyte cards usually but the Strix series is pretty well regarded.

4. 1886 CL11? Are they running at 1.35v or? Those specs seem a bit weak, though in general RAM makes little difference to gaming performance.

5. Havent kept up with SSD's so couldnt really tell you whats good right now.

6. You know what, I have a HAF-X as well and...

The Storm Trooper isnt a bad idea at all, though I feel if you got tired of the HAF it wont take long for that as well. I personally have been eyeing the Phanteks Enthoo cases, as well as a few ITX ones.

First of all, thanks for a fast reply.

1. Yeah, now I have 2600k for a 4th year and it's not really a problem in any game. I believe that 5820k at the moment is a good choice for a working station. For gaming (with many really bad console ports) I think 5820k will not give any significant advantage over 4970k.
2. Ok, I'll choose the best deal then.
3. With Gigabyte I'm worried about its huge size and 3 coolers. Are there any problems with case airflow and overheating (with 2 of them in CM Storm Trooper\HAF-X)?
4. Well... No idea, even official site doesn't show this model. Maybe it's better to take something like this: DDR3 16Gb 1866MHz Kingston HyperX Fury Blue CL10, kit of 2
6. I love my HAF-X so I don't mind about aesthetic side of the question. If Storm Trooper has no major flaws in construction design or reliability i'll grab it. If it has, then I'll take another HAF-X. Unfortunately, no Phanteks or ITX cases available for me. Only some Fractal Design, NZXT, Corsair or Thermaltake are on stock.

yo,

for the SSD --> MX100 512GB, it's great, i just got it and im very happy with it. amazing price/performance.
As for the memory, CAS11 is a bit slow for 16GB memory. How about these:
Kingston Fury Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866
Very good price/quality, can be overclocked to 2133 easy.

as for the GPU:
asus strix --> very quiet, nice overclock
gygabyte G1 --> best overclock, very long card

I just got this build together and i love all parts. No problems whatsoever.

Сongratulations with your new rig! Also thanks for your information.
- Looks like Crucial MX100 512Gb is a good deal. Gonna buy it.
- Yes, I think that CL11 kit may not be a good choice. I also noticed that Kingston HyperX Fury has a good price. Looks like a way to go.

Now i only need to decide what gpu should I choose for sli.

Also I have a question about HDD. Should I choose WD Black or WD Red?

black, easy as that.
SLI go for gtx 970

or if you are rich and you have a very obedient girlfriend you might spend your money on sli 980

strix is you fancy a quiet build, Gigabyte G1 if you want the best oc performance.
Both cards are exellent ( Gigabytes card is longer, so make sure it fit's your case ).
