So I build my first PC a couple of months back and I used the HDD from my previous pc running W7. I want to go into the bios however I have a different MB and there is no option to get into the bios upon boot.

I have all the disks, would it be easier to do a fresh W7 install and would that get me the bios and whatnot?

Solution
the BIOS should be available no matter what OS you install !

just try the most obvious key to go into the BIOS at boot like F12, DEL-key, F1, F8 (for windows safe-mode-menu) etc...

Check the specs of you Mobo which key it is most likely !

Let us know the results.
Cheers, Louise.

What`s your motherboard model?

Anyway, this should be able to do by clearing CMOS.
And the most basic way to do this is by removing the BIOS battery placed on the mobo for about a minute (place it back afterwards).

Try this out and report back.

If he has Fast Bios Enabled, it might not be that easy to get into Bios without any other action.

So I figured it out, I was using the typical keys to get into bios and after a nice visit to the Asus website I found out I needed to be hitting DEL key.
All is well again, thanks guys.
