BIOS update needed.

Hello, i recently purchased all of the parts for my first computer build. Im experiencing a no post/boot/beep with my system and after a few days of troubleshooting, i have discovered that my Motherboard (ASROCK FM2A88M-HD+) came stock shipped with 2.10, whereas my CPU (AMD X4 860k) requires 2.60. Since this is my only desktop i have no other CPU's to use in its place, is there any possible way to update my BIOS?

He can't boot at all. Only thing you can do is to borrow a compatible cpu to update it. May have to take it to computer shop to get it done. Doubt they would charge too much for something like that. Good luck!

Yeah that seems like the only way id be able to get this to work. Either a computer store or my college IT guy hopefully it works that way.
