Hello fellow CS:GO players. I've experiencing crash with cs:go every 20 minutes where the game freezes and the ingamesound starts to loop. I can still talk with my friends in skype/TS but the keyboard is stuck (caps lock test). so there is nothing I can do besides restarting the computer.

Anyone know what the problem can be? Please help! Steam support doesn't answer :/

Specs:

Intel i7 950 @3,8 Ghz
Crosshair Dominator 10 Gb @1600 Mhz
Powercolor graphicscard 5970 LCS
Revodrive 120 GB ssd.

Solution

ok so you should try these:
a) check game integrity (you can do this in steam)
b)update gpu drivers (via amd's site)
c)make sure your computer isnt overheating (cpu can go to a 100 C gpu to 95C) you can do this with cataclyst controll center under preformance for the gpu and realtemp for the cpu.
d) reinstall game

You are not getting crashes because of your cpu, i have a i5 760 and i have stable gameplay at max settings. If you dont have a custom cooler dont overclock.Your problem is probably software related. Are you getting problms in any other games?

The problem is solved somehow long time ago. I've done so much tweaks with CSGO that I'm almost a programmer now :p Yeah I have a 360 radiator watercooling the CPU that are currently running at 4,2 GHz :)
