Hello. I want to know which one is better for gaming Intel i5 4460/Gtx 760 or Amd fx 8350/Ati r9 285

I5-4460 + GTX 760

Thing is, i5 Haswell should be the one if you're going to play games. It's far ahead compared to the FX-8350.

Yeah i want to know which one is better for gaming? Lets compare I5 4460/Gtx 760 Amd fx 8350/Ati r9 285. I want to know if i can play assassins creed unity. I was watching some gameplays on youtube guy with gty 760 and i5 4460 played ac unity on ultra high. So i want to hear ur opinion

That game needs patching, it runs like crap because they did a terrible job porting it to PC. Don't expect anything to run it great until they patch it. (I don't think the patch has come yet)

AC Unity is very poorly optimised for PC and might only run perfectly well with a GTX 770-780 or higher but I think you should be fine. If you can, go for the i5-4460 + R9 280 as it will give you better performance. It might even be cheaper than the GTX 760.

Get the R9 280X with the 4460 - a much better combination. Also, the GTX 960 is a terrible card, if you are getting a 900 series, get the 970 - amazing performance at a very low price (compared to similar cards).

From all the reports I heard it runs like crap on almost everything. It has too many draw calls for directx to handle. So getting something stronger/faster will not equate to performance in that title.

The R9 285 is worse than the R9 280.

No wait, I got that wrong. Yeah the R9 285 is fine. But the R9 280x is better than all. If not, you can take the R9 285 instead of the R9 280 but it has 2gb VRAM compared to the 3gb VRAM of the R9 280.

This would be my choice:
Instead of the GTX 760 2gb or R9 285 2gb I would buy the R9 280 3gb
Instead of the R9 280 I would buy the GTX 760 4gb

So if the GTX 760 card is 4gb you can actually go with that one.

i5 4460 is the better processor. AMD R9 280X is the best card. Not the R9 285. R9 280X>R9 285.
