Hello everyone i am in need of some help i have a AMD A6-5400K@3.6 Mhz and when i overclock it it gives me wrose performance then better i have a 450Watt power suppy so i think that may be the problem, it says i can overclock it up to 4600 Mhz please tell me what i am doing wrong!

The stock fan should not be used for overclocking. Never.
I'd suggest you immideately clock the chip down to it's standard speed. For a 4,6Ghz overclock, you are on the limit of what air can do, even with a high quality CPU heatsink. So, throtteling is occuring here.

If you want to overclock any, don't go over 4000Mhz. But, rather not at all.
Clock the chip immideately back to the standard speeds, or you might risk burning the chip out.

Next time overclocking; Do some more research - Or you'll risk buring the CPU.
Thank you.

How exacly have you overclocked it?
Also, is the 4600Mhz limit the CPU's own boost or have you done it yourself?
The fact that you get worse performance could be affected by throtteling. Your CPU get's too hot and can't continue staying at the higher clocks.
What CPU cooler do you use?

Thanks.

Noctua creates very nice fans. Personally, I use a NH-U12S. My i7-4820K is lying at 4200Mhz with very stable temperatures.
However, even with a very high quality CPU cooler I won't go much higher than that. Also, good airflow in your case is very important.
