High quality? This PSU has 4.5 stars and is trusted with energy star certification it will not fry anything. You will be fine if you just get an adapter instead of a whole new PSU cause yours is fine I dont know what Brillis is saying.

Reviews on Amazon/Newegg/TigerDirect don't mean anything, and neither does an "Energy Star Rating". You're buying a power supply, not a lightbulb.

Bronze/Gold/Silver certifications are whats important in a PSU, along with rail amperage and longevity, and this one didn't earn any of them. Do some research.

EuP 2010 compliant assuring efficiency and low standby power consumption

Heavy-duty protection circuitry on all rails prevents damage from a variety of dangers:
- Over Current Protection (OCP)
- Over Voltage Protection (OVP)
- Short Circuit Protection (SCP)
- Over Power Protection (OPP)
- Dual 12V rails to make it stable (12V)
- Effective 120mm fan (F12)

Yeh bro do some research. Energy star rating means the circuits have all been checked so it will DEFIANTLY not fry unless you have a defective supply. Intec is also a trusted brand and reviews are REAL peoples experience, some dating back to 2011 and still positive. If a PSU had a bronze but all reviews were negative I probably would let the reviews outnumber that little sticker. Research man.

Sure do love that Intec. :)

But what do I know, I'm just a lowly server engineer.

I just find it odd that you NEVER find any mention of Energy Star.
