I have an HP Pavilion Slimline PC and it'll turn on sometimes but other times, it shows absolutely NO sign of power???
PC WON'T TURN ON. Help!!!!

If the Pc is quiet old, say three or four years old.
You are most likely to be looking at the power supply unit fitted inside the case of the slimline case.
I want to be honest with you, the likes of HP do not put quality power supply units in there systems.
If you ask most people on here they will tell you the same.
Other symptoms of the power supply failing can be random crashes of the computer while you are using it.
Or a sudden loss of power while using the tower or system.
Your PSU is always the first thing to look at when you get any of the symptoms listed here.

Damn, that's what I was afraid of. Although, there have been no crashes that I know of. Just sometimes it'll work while sometimes it just plain doesn't...
