Hello guys, i'm having an issue where after some time of playing games my desktop goes weird with flickering squares. When i'm on a game, it's fine. However on my second monitor it still continues to do the same.
Any help would be cool.
Thanks.

It continuously flickers.

That's some major artifacts you have going right there. Issues like that are usually due to bad video memory or the graphics card going into and out of 3d mode.

You should try forcing the video card into 3d mode and see if the issue persists.

How can I do that?
It has only been happening recently, when I restart my PC it would go away for a few hours then come back. Using a MSI GTX 980.

Using the latest MSI Afterburner and don't see anything regarding to that,

Maybe they moved it to somewhere else in one of the newer releases. You'd have to check around the software then as I wouldn't know.

If lowering the resolution stopped the flickering, that's a pretty good indicator of bad Vram. You should try uninstalling and re installing the latest drivers.

I've had video cards that would get that kind of an issue at a much higher resolution or on dual monitors but never on HD unless it had bad VRAM.
