Hey Everyone,

I have a set of doubts regarding my future gaming build. I recently decided to build my own gaming system from scratch so I'm looking for your well-informed recommendations.

I plan to use this build mainly for gaming on demanding games (Black Desert for instance). My goal is to be able to play consistently at or around 60FPS on great, if not the best settings. Here is the build:

CPU: Intel i5 4690K
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo
MOBO: MSI ATX DDR3 2600 Z97-G45 GAMING
RAM: 16GB DDR3 1866 Kingston Hyper X
Case: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K6S1B3Q/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_10?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
PSU: Corsair CX Series 600 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80+ Bronze ATX12V/EPS12V 552 CX600M
GPU: GTX 970
HDD: WD Cavier Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200rpm
SDD: Crucial MX100 128GB SATA 2.5" 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter)

My main questions are:

1) PSU good?
2) If possible, I want to achieve the 60FPS on 1080p (1900x1080). Is this build good enough for that or should I stick to 720 or 900p instead?
3) Any other advice is also welcome :)

Thanks all!

1. Its fine, but more suited to a budget rig. Your probably want to go something a bit higher end.

2. Play at whatever resolution your monitor is, adjust your graphics settings to suit. More pixels at lower settings looks better than less pixels at higher settings despite what the console manufacturers would have you believe (900p, what is this, an Xbone?!).

3. You don't need 16GB, drop that down to 8GB. Go for a Seagate Barracuda HDD. See if you cant bump the SSD to 256GB, maybe an 840/850 EVO (Crucial havent put out a notable SSD since the M4 tbh).

Right...

I'm running a 7970, which is a R9 280, which is roughly equal to the 760. 60FPS at 1080p Ultra in demanding titles, yeah, it didn't do that when it was new so I doubt an equivalent card will do that now.
