So, this is what happened, I have a HP Pavilion 17-e017dx Laptop, it came with Windows 8 installed when I bought it, but I decided to install Ubuntu on my laptop, and I accidentally deleted my Windows 8 OS, but I didn't know that, so after a time, I decided to delete Ubuntu, and guess what ..... My laptop now didn't have any OS installed, and I had to install a Windows 7 OS that I had on a DVD (Through BIOS), but now I want to recover my windows 8 OS, since I bought it, it was mine after all, microsoft should be able to send me another copy of it, with the same product ID and everything isn't it ?
Or how do I recover it ?
Please Help me
Oh and by the way, when I bought the laptop, it didn't have an OS installation disk, the OS was already installed in the machine, so I do not have the disk
