What card would work best to play newer AAA games on my x4 965 black edition

Currently running a phenom 2 X4 965 black edition, stock clock at 3.4, on a Asus Crosshair III Formula mobo with 16gigs ripjaws x 1333 7-7-7-21, cooler master 212 cooler, inside a haf 922 with a cooler master silent pro gold 1200w psu. My friend is letting me borrow his Sapphire radeon hd 5770 juniper xt, currently playing battlefield 4 on high preset with fps not going lower than 30.

I'm looking forward to tax time and have been looking at cards around $150. Best cost/performance seems to be the HIS IceQ X2 Turbo Boost 2GB OC R9 270X

Would this be a good card to buy? I'm also thinking about ocing my cpu to 3.8ghz.

Thats a good GPU but I would recommend going with a better company like XFX which has a lifetime warranty on there cards. Heres one for 150$ after MIR:

270x is solid for that budget, but yeah avoid HIS / club3d / zotac / pny if u can

I would suggest 280/X due higher memory bandwidth and more Vram.

Yes the 270x is best card in $150 range, it can handle most games on high settings @1080p.

Thanks for the information gents, trying to keep it around $160 without MIR so I might go with the Sapphire dualx 270 and overclock it to match the 270x
