I have a power supply of 400 watts and my set up is cpu amd fx 6300 radeon r7 240 2gb (shit) 8 gb of ram 1 WD blue TB harddrive 1 cpu fan 2 case fans GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard 1 cd drive and i was wondering which card should i get that my power supply can handle

Solution
don't know about bad news , just get the card that works out with what you got and that one don't look so bad and look at all the reviews it got 83+% happy with it ??? only needs a 300w psu and just pci-e slot power ?? and then slightly clocked less then the ftw card .... looking at your deal it seems the right card for your needs [opinion]

and its on sale at newegg-- $130 after rebate

it would be hard to choose a older card over the newer release card if for around the same price point ---- unless you see folks reporting a loyt of issues with the newer cards -- so for me I would look at the gtx960 for the newer tec. and features it may offer over the older 750 [opinion]

Not any new technology though. Just the same architecture built into a new design. Same lithography process.

If you want performance and overclocking, pick out a GTX960. If you want power efficiency for go for a standard 750Ti.

750Ti FTW no longer seems to have a niche with the 960 release.

nah i want the msi one

Reference solutions are just the base design from NVidia/amd and the manufactures like evga , msi or whoever improve off that .. better vrm, coolers ect.....

so it seems you want looks/hype over the rest ?? what does lighting have top do with the cards performance ??? far as I care it can be puke green with crap brown poke a dots as long as it runs cool and kicks a$$ on my screen .. I'm not looking at the card in the case I'm looking at what it puts on the screen [opinion]

Like people that complain about red ram on a blue motherboard, even though the case doesn't have a window. I literally had someone, on here, go crazy about that. It was hilarious. Basically the setup was something like red ripjaws with an H97 pro4m, with a cougar spike. Now had it been a windowed case, I could see the complaint, but in a closed system, who gives a damn what color the ram is?
