Hey all,
I have an ASUS which is 8gb and can be upgraded to 12gb. It has one 4gb soldered to the MB and one slot with a 4gb stick that can be upgraded to an 8gb stick. I am doing music recording and mixing so the extra ram will definitely be useful, particularly with vst's open.
It is a SK Hynix 4gb1Rx8 PC3L - 12800S - 11 - 13 - B4
I Googled and got a bunch of options and just wanted to be positive before making the purchase. If anyone could make a recommendation or just tell me what to get I'd appreciate it.
