Windows 8.1 - Have to manually close and reopen 'explorer.exe' every time after login

Hi there, I recently suddenly had a problem this morning, where the monitor only shows a black screen after logging in. After surfing around the internet, I managed to close and reopen explorer.exe from the task manager. However, I have to repeat this process every time I turn my computer off and it is very annoying since it also somehow's extends the time of the process of logging in. I have looked at the regedit Shell, and the value is definitely explorer.exe, so I got no idea why it won't boot like normal....any ideas? :p

I had this problem recently too, and I think it eventually fixed itself. How long has it been happening?

You can try running this command in an administrator command prompt: sfc /scannow

It will scan your filesystem and see if anything's broken or corrupted.

I've tried that before, but it didn't work...
However, I think I'll try again, just in case :p

UPDATE: nope, there doesn't seem to be any errors....
