I'm having two issues with my ASUS p8p67 pro rev 3.1 motherboard. They could be connected but I honestly have no idea.
Issue #1 is that any time I reboot I get a CPU overheat error, forcing me to enter the bios screen. When I land there the temp shows ~ 80, but quickly drops down to the mid-60's and I can boot from there into Windows without issue.
Issue #2 is that I cannot run the system in the ASUS "high performance mode". It boots and runs fine (except for issue #1) when in the moderate or power saving modes, but of course I built this baby to perform and would like it to be able to use the highest setting.
More info on my system:
Mobo bios v1904, i7 3.4, 16gb ram, GTX 660 ti
Any help is very much appreciated, thank you!
