Why do I always get memory dumps when I OC my memory?

I have 2 sets of this ram for a total of 4 dimms

If I go above 1600mhz, even to 1866mhz, I get memory dumps. I run the XMP... memory dumps. Right now my i7 4770k is running at 4.1ghz with voltage on auto (it fluctuates between 1.217 and 1.224 when I look at it in the BIOS. I would love to get my RAM up to 2400mhz, just don't know why I get the memory dumps :(

My system runs stable at 4.1ghz with memory at 1600mhz

I ran memtest86 and it took like 8 hours, but it said all 4 of my DIMMS were fine.

Also my CPU is cooled by an H55 liquid cooler.
 
The G.Skill DIMM's may not be compatible with your system. Check compatibility here.

Could try manually adjusting frequencies and timings in BIOS.
And check DRAM voltage is set at 1.65 V.
Could also adjust DRAM VTT to about half of DRAM voltage, so VTT could be ~ 0.825 V.
Finally the memory controller voltage (VCCSA or CPU-NB) could be increased a bit also (to no more than ~ 1.2 V).

May just have two sets that don't want to play, it's never a good idea to mix sets - even of the same exact model (especially high performance sets like these) as it can be and often is problematic. I'd first check that your BIOS is up to date which might help, then if no joy- try the two together at 10-11-11-31, 1.65, 2T and see if that helps - don't mess with the VCCSA voltage

Crappy thing is I checked compatibility and the Trident X series it says is not supported on my mobo (MSI z87M Gaming), Trident series is but not Trident X. Like I said it all works perfectly, until I try to OC the RAM to anything above 1600mhz

4.2 would be pushin it, whenever I set it above 4.1 ish I usually have to hit the CMOS button to get everything to default because it freezes in the BIOS at those speeds. Did I get unlucky and get a CPU that is on the lower end of the bell curve or is it just a voltage issue..? Should I take CORE voltage off of auto? (I used to have my CPU on adaptive but now I keep it on fixed), like I said the CORE voltage on auto will fluctuate between 1.217 and 1.224, I've heard 1.225 is a good voltage to start at (I have a 4770k i7)

As for RAM voltage, I'm not worried about putting DRAM voltage to 1.65, seeing as that's the voltage the DIMMS are rated for, good to know to not mess with the voltage on the memory controllers.

I'm weary of VTT voltage however, somebody above said to set it to half of the DRAM voltage, which would be .825, but you said to put it to 1.1

Just don't want to fry my system or RAM, especially since I can't get my ram anymore and it's rated for 2400mhz with a CAS latency of 9.
