funny, that is the exact one i linked above. 
yes it will be fine. keep in mind that performance will be hurt if the antenna is on the floor, under a desk. for instance my dad had a usb stick like this and he got horrilbe signal strength. i put it at the end of 6' of usb cable and tapped it to the wall above the desk and his signal imporved a bunch. he went from about 8 mbs to the full 25 mbs he pays for just by getting the stick off the floor and higher up.
they make internal cards with antennas at the end of a long cable for this reason. they cost a bit more but are worth it in my opinion. if you're pc is on a desk and already high up, the one we picked would be good enough. from the floor, i suggest the long antenna for the...

if by what kind of wifi you mean like sky thats what i have and yes i'm looking for a internal one i have a usb one and am not happy with the results of it not sure what towers i have and not sure about the internal card thing either. sorry

my pc is in my room in the attic of my house its under my desk though so ill try your usb cable idea
