I have a problem since yesterday. When I start my pc one of my gpu fan don't work and the other go at full speed.

But immediately when I start a game everything go back to normal. Both fans go at the same speed and are quiet.

I have a gtx 760.

Someone has an idea how to fix this ? Thank You

Same problem here with a GTX770, no problem while under load, just at idle.

One fan ramps up and the other stops at idle, then they both go full speed for 2 secs and stop, then the process repeats. Takes 10 seconds or so. Very annoying!

Any solutions would be appreciated. Tried re-installing drivers, rolling back drivers, nothing works so far. When the drivers are uninstalled there is no issue, but that creates a new problem of having no drivers!

Please help!

I have a ZOTAC Gtx 760 AMP edition. And since a few months ago, my fans work exactly as Ziller said. From the moment Windows boots, to when I start playing something demanding, one fan goes at full speed and the other stays still. Once the temps go up, or the gpu load goes up, both fans begin working normally. They're very quiet. Then, as soon as the PC is back at normal temps/load/idle, one fan stops and the other goes at 100%.

I reinstalled the drivers, and nothing changed. When I uninstalled the drivers, and normally on safe mode, the fans are normal and quiet. But even with Windows' default drivers, or Nvidia's own drivers, the fans get funky.

And it's very tiring. A solution or some help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running Win7 Ultimate 64 bits, I formatted and reinstalled latest drivers, and the problem came up again. Tried with older drivers, as old as I could find on here http://www.nvidia.com/download/find.aspx, and the problem persisted. I also used DDU to cleanup any driver remains. I have found no solution. I have not yet tried to use the very old drivers that came with the gpu, and though I suspect it's a driver problem, I don't think it will fix it.
