I recently upgraded from the fx 8350 to the i7 4790k
I have been using the H80i with my fx 8350 and have never had temps above 30 in idle. when i installed my new motherboard and h80i i booted it up and my idle temps have been between 30 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius on idle when i game the temps can reach over 80 and on some games my pc turns off and i get an error "Asus Anti Surge has been activated because of unstable power supply" I have been trying to fix this problem for about 2 weeks and i think it may be a power supply issue as i have a GTX 780 and 4790k and my power supply is only a vs650.
I would appreciate it if someone could confirm that i have and issue with my power supply or if its something else.
Thanks for the much needed help

I'm guessing it's a mounting problem w/ your H80i. Maybe try reinstalling again, as temps shouldn't be that high. Plus, it worked fine w/ your 8350, so it's known to be functioning correctly itself. For your PC shut-off problem, I'd be suspect of the PSU as well. Any other changes to your system besides the motherboard and CPU? What happens if you run CPU stress tests(Prime, OCCT, ect) and GPU tests, 3DMark, ect?
