I'm newer to pc gaming and I recently upgraded to a Msi GTX 970 and decided to water cool my cpu with a Corsair H100i.
My games are running at half the frames as they used to, When I stream I'm all of a sudden dropping frames and having a hard time with xsplit. Should I try maybe overclocking my cpu to 4.0 ghz, I know the 8320 can do that pretty easily. I'm sorry if most of the information is vague I'm trying to post before the problem get's any worse, thanks in advance
Here are most of my Pc Specs
Motherboard: Sabertooth 990fx r2.0
Cpu: AMD fx8320 eight core processor 3.5 ghz
Gpu: Msi GTX 970
Ram: 8gb G.SKILL Ripjaws 2x4gb

is the gtx 970 bottlenecking my cpu? Or is there a problem I'm completely missing

Solution
hmm you might want to overclock the CPU and check yourself if your being Bottleneck or not, 4.5ghz can easily be achieved by most 8320
here is an idea the 4690k//4790k are more than 50% faster Core for core than the 8320.
