I tried to restore my laptop to factory default. I was asked to backup on 3 DVD. After the 2nd DVD backup, the laptop went to the dos prompt. There was nothing I could do except to reboot.
On reboot, I was asked to insert the recover disk 1 and then 2 and then 3. As I did not have the 3rd recovery disk. the installation stopped.
I installed Windows 7 home edition onto the primary drive and now I am unable to update the drivers and even connect to the internet.
I do not have the original ACER recovery disk
Please help urgently
