Hello everyone, I've decided to build a new gaming PC with a budget ot 1300-1500 euros, but I am somewhat of a noob regarding computer parts, and although I've asked a few friends that are a bit more savvy I thought I should definitely also ask here for some advise. I already have a list of most parts,. I'm open to all suggestions for changing my current setup. Would like to know for example if I'd have to get a different PSU etc, and in general how good this pc will turn out to be. Thank you in advance. Additionally, what about cooling?

Case: Cooler Master HAF XM
PSU: Cooler Master G650M 650W
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Ranger
Memory: Kingston 8GB HyperX Savage Red 2400MHz CL11 (kit of 2)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming 4GB
SSD: Samsung 250GB SSD 840 Evo Series 2.5 Sata III
HDD: Seagate 1 TB Barracuda (7200.14) Sata III

Let me know what you think.

Also I would like to note that I most likely will not be overclocking.

Is this only for gaming? I'm sure you can do better than that at your price point. This build would allow you to do sli in the future.

Prices from Germany. Included i7 only because your budget allows it, and included Z97 motherboard only because of potential SLI in the future (that's why 750W PSU is included as well). 16GB is not needed now, but one day it will.

i5 4690k overclocked beats the i7 4790 in gaming.
16gb of ram is absolutely unnecessary and you can always upgrade later on.

Situation in that regard is not nealry as bad as it one was - today nearly all motherboard vendors make quality products. Asus and Gigabyte are both excellent vendors, and the only thing that should be your guide is price and features of the board (whether or not you want SLI, overclocking, more expansion ports and so on).

Yes you see the thing is that I don't have accessibility on multiple manufactureres so I was hoping some correction on my system but with parts from the same vendors. I know I might be asking too much sorry. :(
