Will a LGA 2011- v3 CPU fit in a 2011 mobo socket?

I didnt know if i should ask this in the cpu forum or mobo forum, but anyway:

I was wondering if a intel core 5930K (LGA 2011- v3) will fit in a 2011 socket mobo like this one:

No since the 2011-3 needs a board with DDR4 support.

Yup; but OP, if you get a newer motherboard you should be fine.
