ok, long story short, i had a dual PSU system because i have crossfire r9 290 (corsair AX760 and some seasonic 750) and the seasonic now wont load (suspect bad psu, its 6ish years old, tried in another PC, no-go) im ordering a RM1000 to go back to single PSU, my (stupid)question is :
If i just unplug ONE of my two cards (as in the PCI-e plugs), will the PSU cope?
the reason i ask is because it is said that the r9290 draws 31 amps and two = 62 and the AX760 only supplies 63ish...
if anyone (in the UK) wants to swap my AX760 for a RM1000 or HX1050, PM me!
