Hey guys, I'm looking for some input on my current situation. Here's what I'm working with:

  • ■ CPU - Intel i5 2500k
    ■ GPU - Sapphire HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5
    ■ Mobo - ASRock P67 EXTREME4 GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX
    ■ Main HD - Intel 320 Series SSDSA2CW080G3B5 2.5" 80GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive
    ■ HD with games installed - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3500630AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive
    ■ RAM - HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) (x2 for 16 GB)

So, I feel like I have a decent setup. However, in almost everything I play, I experience frame drops, slowdowns, etc. I've tried disabling all background programs, but that hasn't really improved things. It runs at 60 FPS for the majority of the time, but the jaggedness is annoying.

My question is, what would I be best served in upgrading? My initial thoughts would be to get a bigger SSD for my games, instead of using the barracuda. Thoughts?
