I was taking out my memory sticks today, so I could take a picture of them and post them for sale.
When I was finished I inserted them back, but to 2 different slots. I mean that I took them out from a1b1 and put them back to a2b2.
After plugging my pc back, it would start but with a black screen and 3 beeping sounds..
After a few checks I saw they're not fully pushed so I tightened them to the motherboard, it then booted without beeping, but still black screen. I tried clearing CMOS, nothing.
I tried moving the ram sticks back to the a1b1 slots, nothing.
I then tried to clear CMOS again, nothing...
I have no idea what happened. I have done this about a hundred times and never had any problems.
Did I fry my motherboard by any chance, or damaged my RAM sticks? What should I do now?
