Hi all,
So this is going to be my first build. I am really good with using a computer but I'm new with the hardware side. I have been doing my research and I think I have put together a good list:
*all parts are from newegg.com
Pentium G3258- $70
MSI Z87M Motherboard- $70
Rosewill Blackhawk Blue Edition Gaming ATX case- $60
G.SKILL Value Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)- $65
Western Digital Blue 500 GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive Bare Drive- $55
Samsung DVD Burner- $20
Gigabyte GTX-750- $90
I have some friends that can help me put it together but my budget is very strict at around $400; I have exceeded my budget of $400 dollars and I haven't added a monitor, OS, keyboard, mouse. What would be some good choices for these components? Also will all of these pieces work well together? Is there anything else I need that I've missed? Any way to bring my prices down without much sacrifice? Any response is apreciated!

Cool so if I got that motherboard is there anything else that would need swapping?

So I looked at the H97 and it is for CPU's w/ integrated graphics only so it wont work with my plans because I am planning on getting a GTX 750 GPU. Any other suggestions? Any price cutting options? Thanks.
