Hey Guys! Im in need of building a new gaming/streaming PC for around 1000-1200$. I will mainly be streaming via Twitch.tv. I realize that streaming is very CPU dependant. I would like to make use of my current system for a dual computer setup with capture card if it would in fact be better.

I will need CPU, Mobo, SSD, GPU, PSU and perhaps a capture card if that option is viable.

Lemme know your thoughts and Thank you!

I would stick with the card, it will not cause any lag whatsoever, the programs are EXTREMELY resource intense.

That is a complete waste of money and overkill of a case, also, he needs a capture card which go upwards of $140

The case does not matter when it is quality. The case has a 4 star rating and it looks pretty nice also. Correction, it costs $29.99 which is $30+ with tax.

A. That's after rebate.
B. On a budget, what's on the inside is more important. Unless the case is complete crap, and horrible for cooling. Still, plenty of sub $50 cases that are fine.

How about an R9 280 instead? Saves budget room for capture care?

Also, you don't have the most crucial thing he needs which is a capture card. As explained in a previous post, they cost upwards of $140 which would devastate his budget if added to your build.

the new 300 series is coming out and the old 200 series has no competition with the 900 series by Nvidia. It is just impossible to compare them now. Looks like AMD really has to up their game. But for the moment, 970 is the best choice.

I'm not 100% on the use of a capture card, would it be necessary? I figured I may aswell due to having the old pc. If i am slightly over 1200 its not a big deal. Thanks guys
