So I bought a 4gb stick of G.Skills DDR3 ram @ 1600 when I made my build about a month ago, and now want to add another so I purchased another one. Its the same exact item but did not buy them in a kit.
Will it be a problem? Since I did not buy them in a kit? I plan to run them in dual channel but if not recomended Its fine if I have to run each in single channel.
My motherboard is GA-F2A88X-D3H

On my old PC (i7-920@3.6GHz, 18GB Kingston Hyper-x RAM blah blah blah). I originally had 6GB of RAM, and about 2 years later wanted some more, so checked the product code and purchased 12GB of the same type. At 1st I just ran the new 12GB for about 3 months to test for any faults then I added the 6GB for a total of 18GB. It, much to my surprise, worked absolutely fine. Never crashed once in about 12 months. And that was with about 12 hours usage every day.
