Hi everyone,
I have SSD Intel 520 120 GB, Win 7 64 Ultimate and I have my system installed here together with some applications and a few games. After few months when everything was running smoothly I just noticed that I am running very low on space. When I check the size of all files on that SSD it shows around 55 GB but I somehow have only 9 GB free.

Just yesterday I checked and I had freed up some space (like 2 GB) through the default win "clean space" and I had 12 GB free and today it was only 9 GB (nothing new installed, no updates or anything) 3GB disappeared just like that. I remember I used to have this problem in the past with my HDD and I never found out what was the problem, I just had to format the disc and install everything (I would RLY like to avoid this option now though).

I performed AVAST scan and it showed no viruses. I suppose there should be some software that would show me whats eating up the space or that would remove it. Can anyone recommend me some good software (preferably freeware) that could solve my problem or anyone that has/had similar problem could give me some advice?

thank you in advance

So I checked it with the tree size and here is the result:

The problem seems to be in the "System Volume Information" there are several files that are taking up insane amount of space (from 2 GB - 5 GB for each file). I have absolutely no idea what those files could be but there appeared from "nowhere" over time. Are they safe to delete? Could anyone advice me?

thanks in advance
