Here is the list of parts for the gaming PC I will hopefully get soon: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Linkin506/saved/4hhBD3 what do you guys think? Am I able to play on at least high settings with at least 60+ FPS for games like Far Cry 3, Skyrim, Metro: Last Light, Bioshock Infinite, Max Payne 3, Hitman: Absolution, The Evil Within, Dying Light, Minecraft (with mods), Dead Island Riptide, and a few other games?

Solution
I don't know about 60fps+ on most of those gamse... I know for half of those games, you probably can get around 30-60fps. Minecraft is like an oddball game for frames. Sometimes it'll give you good frames, sometimes it gives you crap frames.

I revised your build and these are just suggestions to consider:

Slightly stronger cpu for a little bit of a lower price.

Cheaper motherboard, still functions just fine.

Cheaper ram that'll get the job done. Nothing past 1600Mhz cas9 is really needed in gaming.

Faster GPU by a little margin.

Cheaper and higher quality PSU.

Ok thanks, do you think this build will be better for the games I listed?

A tad bit better with the games you listed. You'll definitely get a higher fps since the GPU is stronger. The CPU is only marginally faster. It's not significant on the CPU's end. But definitely will give you a slightly better performance in games. You could also swap out the r9 280 with a gtx 960 and you'll get a slightly bit better performance out of it maybe.

You said maybe swap the R9 280 with the GTX 960, but the gtx has 1GB less than the R9. I think I might stick with the R9 280, unless it actually will be better and the 1 less gb doesn't matter.
