Hey guys, I want to start off with saying I have never built a computer, so I want to hear opinions on it. Is it hard to do? Do you think it's something I'll be able to jump into having no idea about the inside of computers besides what I've seen here so far on the sticky threads? How easy is it to mess up and ruin everything? I have no one to help me with it so I'll be on my own.

I'm looking to build 2 cheap gaming computers for me and my girlfriend. They will mostly be for League of Legends and Sims 4, and maybe other small games. Not looking to run anything big, but I'd like to see Sims and League on max settings.. I'm hoping for a budget of around $300-$400 each. I know its not a lot, but like I said, it's for small games like League and Sims. We would also like to be able to stream on Twitch and be able to record videos for YouTube if possible in that price range.

I literally know nothing about what I need. So I would need a full build. No operating system, I have that covered. I also have the monitors and stuff like that. So I just need the case and internal components.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

It really isn't hard as long as you do enough research. The more research, the easier it is. It is just like fitting together pieces and is pretty elementary as logn as you're careful and know what you're doing.

the only real danger is static electricity. Make sure you are grounded before touching any components.

Here is a good build for the both of you:

The only thing is the PSU isn't the best, but it will certainly handle the hardware.

What would you say that build would be capable of? Can it run League on Max and stream while maintaining good FPS??

Or stream Sims, cause apparently my girlfriend wants to make sim videos lol

Yes it should be able to run LOL at max I know that for a fact. Idk too much about sims since I have never played it or anything like it. Is like spore since they are from the same creator?

From what I have looked at it is not very demanding and this should handle it very well!

Also, if you want to buy a CPU cooler and overclock the CPU you really get a performance boost with the g3258 and it is pretty easy to overclock.

I'm sure it'll be fine. Okay, last few questions..

No matter what, the stuff all fits in the case right? Lol. Like it all has a set spot?

And as for a CD reader, does that just plug into the Motherboard too? Going to need one to install Windows and such.

You do not need a CD drive. you can install windows using a USB. Guide here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1240779/seans-windows-8-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds

Yes it all fits in the case. You seem to know nothing about how they fit together so please watch these:
